 URC200 is a Great Product! July 12, 2008
I purchased the URC200 almost 4 years ago and it's works real well. I was never able to get the macro function to work the way we wanted but as far as an integrated universal remote it's awesome. I use it for 8 devices and with the RF expander module. The RF expander module communicates via RF and allows this remote to be a whole house remote. I use it with a 2-zone amplifier so it's really cool for using pool side, in the garage, bedroom, etc and other areas of the house where we have speakers. I would definetely recommend this product and other Universal Remote products.

I love universal brand remotes but for same amount of money get a mx-500 it really is better than this and if you have to get RF just buy the next model up mx-etc
Solved my "Remote" problem May 17, 2007

I needed a remote to control 4 current systems : Sansung TV, Motorola DVR, Denon DVD and Denon Receiver.
Within 20 minutes of opening the remote I had all four programmed (including manually loading the Denon DVD controls from the existing remote as the codes given were not recognised). I have not used the original controllers since.
After getting used to the remote I enabled a few macros and made a few tweaks (like "punch throughs" and menu customizations).
Very happy, no complaints and did not even need the accompanying DVD.

Finally a universal remote that actually is! Great product and now selling very cheap about $70 so you can't beat it. Easy to use and it allows you to completely customize the entire unit. Edit button lables and teach the commands from your orginal remote in seconds. I even got it to turn on the fan!

I've now purchased four of these units for four different video system. The set up is a little tedious and requires some patience but the ultimate result, a highly functinal and easy to use multi-function remote is the outcome. I recommend this unit to most anyone. I really love the flexibility this remote offers.
