sony mp3 January 6, 2009 I got this for my 11 year old son. He had no problem figuring out how to work it. It downloads easily from media player.Sounds good too.
Love it! January 3, 2009 The sound quality is outstanding and the battery life is great! My last sony player was a minidisc I bought 8 years ago and it's still going strong. You won't regret buying this player. I recommend a hard plastic case such as:

Enjoy!

I love that you can plug it into your computer and start listening right away - no programs to install, no PITA formats... nothing. If you have Media Player, you already have everything you need. This alone makes it 1000 times better than an iPod. I hate having Apple programs on my PC anyway. It's about time manufacturers started making their products work with our computers and not the other way around!!
A nice mp3 player December 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The appearance, battery life and sound quality are impressive. But the design of menu is not satisfactory.
It just WONT work on any 64 bit plataform, but sounds very good when working - buy a good phone December 11, 2008 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
In short,
Sound is VERY good (with a good phone) Nice shape and look Turns on easy on pocket... use the hold and hope it dont break on hold off Headphone provided is ridiculously cheap! Proprietary cable makes me unconfortable... if it breaks i dont know.
AND the most IMPORTANT: It wont work at all if you have a xp or vista 64... i wish i could read it anywhere before buy it. What era is Sony living in? 32 bits compatible only???
Other: Now that i have used my notebook as a proxy to be able to load it with desktop content, i must say the sound is realy good, it almost makes me forget the headache that is to transfer files on my "XP64 condition". I cant find the timer to switch it off after some minutes of choice... if youre going to sleep listening music i guess it must play all your sleeping thru, i may be true, after all, for me it's unthinkable not to work as mass storage on XP64 and it happened. I'll correct my review if i find how to program it to play for as long as i wish and not till it drains itself. And again i say - GET a good phone and youll have GREAT sound... better than i expected for mere 128k mp3's, but even more incredible playing uncompressed WAV.
