5 out of 5 stars very good anttena   January 9, 2009
This is my second anttena Terk HDTVa . It is very good, my first one is given to me as a gift after I have been using all kind regular anttenas put out door, and indoor, but still looks blur. I thought maybe I need cable,or sattelite.Luckily, my brother-in-law gave me one. I just put it on top of the TV, everything look perfect, I can watch all channels I thought never exist. I just have 32" Lcd TV , I need another Terk . Amazon is gone up in price for $2, but I don't mind, I still need Terk.I don't want experiment with another brand, waste too much time. I recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Great HDTV antenna for use with digital tv converter boxes...   January 9, 2009
I purchased two Terk HDTVa antennas for my parents' home, and it worked considerably well on both floors. Both the walls and floors are concrete, and the roof is made up of tiles. So I expected some resistance from building materials. I was amazed on how well they worked (More to say later...) I had tried the old rabbit antennas (all that we had in the house) to the digital tv converter boxes, and reception on either locations was none to some digital channels being received. Using the Terks (with amplification on) improved reception to all channels being received.

On the 2nd floor, the antenna worked well out of the box. Assembly was simple and fast, and the amplifier boosted signals, that were very weak with the rabbit ears. All channels were being received. As for the 1st floor, the antenna needed to be near the window to receive all the signals. So I had used an extension cable there. Otherwise, I need to do some adjustment of the VHF dipoles on the Terk. (Oh, this antenna is directional, as I have read from others that it is non-directional.) Even though the transmitters are less than 6 miles away, rabbit ears did not help with the converter boxes. After reading the reviews here, I decided to spend a bit more, and my parents are happy.

5 out of 5 stars Great Antenna   January 8, 2009
I bought the Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified to view HD channels. I have doubled the channels that I can view now. I have access to channels that I could not view before. This is a great antenna to buy for someone looking to enhance their current TV watching experience.

5 out of 5 stars It does the job!   January 8, 2009
I live about 45-50 miles from the TV transmitters, with no hills in the way. This antenna pulls in all channels strongly. I am very satisfied with it, though I wish it took up a bit less space.

3 out of 5 stars Not the best   January 8, 2009
Supposedly this was supposed to be the best antenna on the market for HDTV, but i could only get one channel. I purshased the dish looking antenna from radioshack and it picked up everything. I guess its like any antenna as they all work different per your area. The construction of this antenna is first class, I do have to say.
