I bought this TV at Walmart in the summer. For a little less than $400, it's sufficient. But if you have a couple hundred more to spare on a TV, go for HD. Great for my dorm, but will be replacing it with an HDTV next year.

I like the TV, but in a way, I wished I would have spent a few hundred extra for a higher resolution tv.
Pros: Price
Cons: Bad user interface on remote and menus, only 640x480 resolution.

I got this TV from Walmart for $397. For that price, it's a great value. Really nice for that spot where you have limited space. The DVD player is built into the top, and works just fine, with all the standard functions. The picture is excellent. Sound is only adequate; if that is a big issue for someone, I'd recommend adding a home theater system. The remote control is not too bad for one that is multi-function--I've seem worse. All in all, I am really satisfied with this purchase.
